If you want to remove a window and fill the hole .
No Bricks will match then Paint some 2*4s and get some latex caulking .
Only the home inspector can see the difference .

The patch looks better than the repointing. What did they use a shovel or a trowel?

Both agents and both buyers though I was nuts when I said it was 2*4s and all had to go and touch the wood .
You lady with help bought the home ... Roy .
I have other strange things I will try and post so we all can learn and have a chuckle .

Maybe they should do like they did in Scotland and England in the 18th century when they introduced the"WINDOW" tax which taxed people or companies buy the window, the more windows your building had they assumed the more tax you could pay. So what people did was brick up some windows in their buildings and paint fake windows over top of the bricked openings!!. I was in Edinbourgh a few years ago and you would have to look really hard to notice they were fake. Check it out: file:window tax.jpg
