We all look to see if the windows have lost their seal . Please also look close at the bottom and top corners for drilled holes , can be hard to see look close at bottom right that small piece of plastic covers a 1/8 hole in the glass.. Roy
Roy:
The small plastic thing is a one way valve, installed to allow moisture to vent from between the panes. This is a repair process to remove the moisture. A fairly new method of repair-- much cheaper that replacing an otherwise good window. Cheers
Thanks Doug .
This picture was from June 3 2004 22 windows on this home where like this .
We had a propane explosion from a train wreck and on this home most windows lost their seal in the next week .About 1,000 feet from the wreck .

Just want inspectors to know about this system
Most of these valves had fallen off allowing ants and bugs to get in.
I got a bunch of windows 5 years ago and did this to them and built a small green house.
Cost is about 30%~ of a new window .
I might do it if it was a back window but at front I think I would repace the window .
Window cost for replacement is about $10;00 ~+ or- per sq, ft. example 4*6 =24 sq ft cost ~$240;00
